How Can a Small Blister On The Lip Be Treated?

I have a cluster of small blister in the center of my bottom lip. I was outside all day Saturday in very high winds and sun. Yesterday my lips peeled like they got sun burnt. Is the blusters related and how do I make it go away? Also, they hurt badly.

Hi..
Thanks for the query.

It looks like you either have infection over the lip leading to blister formation or some sort of allergy..
It can also be due to due to formation of sun blisters due to persistent exposure of the lips to strong sunlight..
Do not worry, clean the area with antiseptic solution like Povidone Iodine and hydrogen peroxide.
Apply a combination of Lidocaine gel and antiseptic ointment over it.
You can also do cool compresses to reduce inflammation and pain..
In case if still the bumps does not heal you can consult an Oral Physician and get a script of antibiotics and painkillers after a proper clinical examination..

Hope your query is resolved..

Regards.
